"Unhappy with false advertisement and information"

About: Mount Stuart Hospital

After being advised by my GP of open days at mount Stuart, to enable free consultation prior to cosmetic private surgery, I seen a date for an open day And went along and seen surgeon Where I was advised what would be done to remove my mole, and how much, As the price had risen £120 from what it was, I didn't make appointment until I save more money,. I was told by surgeon my consultation was straight forward and complete and I didn't need a further one prior to my opp. I was to call for to. Book in the opp when I was ready. I double checked to confirm that I did not have to find any more money or have another consultation, and was told by both surgeon and their secretery thst was it, just the £480 to pay for the removal of mole. A few months later when I tried book in, I was told by admin staff I was given the wrong information and needed a consultation in which I had pay, as the open day one did. It cover this. They went on blaming the surgeon for giving wrong information to others not just me. Basically the free open day isn't a proper conciliation ????? This is misleading and false advertising, even my GP told me to wait for an open day to save consultation costs So I don't feel everyone got this wrong. Why have 2 consultations ? What is the point of waiting for a free open day one If I have come back For same advice. How can you say the free one isn't a real one? What was it then. ? We went through the procedure and verified no extra cost or consultation needed. Then to add to insult I was told I would be contacted back once this admin staff member had spoken to their manager. Near 2 weeks on and no call back. Very unprofessional. Also I had scan done for different matter and was told Dr would contact me for update on result, no follow up was made and I still have not heard. Very upset with all of this and I'm taking it further
