"Bonfire Madness"

About: Cromer Hospital

I had the misfortune to burn my right leg when combining a bonfire with petrol. I attended the Minor Injuries Dept at Cromer Hospital on a Sunday and was treated with both understanding and good humour. A typical comment was 'surely someone of your age (73) should know better'!! I had to keep returning to the hospital every few days for a dressing change but the standard of service was always the same: top notch When I found it difficult walking in the early stages the unit even provided me with a walking frame. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I have now been discharged due, in the main, to the excellent treatment that I received. Cromer is, indeed, most fortunate to have such an excellent group of people working in its midst. They are a brilliant advert for the town.

Keep up the good work
