Today I attended fracture clinic at Treliske.I wanted to write a review about my care as I feel it was outstanding.As a person who is normally on the other side of fence running clinics in outpatients it was interesting for me to be the patient.
The staff where all efficient and my treatment was delivered with care and respect
I received a CT scan as part of my assessment which was performed quickly and the scan was read immediately and treatment plan was formed.
The Doctor who saw me was professional and compassionate. They answered all my questions and left me feeling confident that I am receiving the best care possible.
The OT fitted me with an air boot. They gave me instructions how to use it and explained what to do if there are any issues with the boot.
I left the department with a follow up appointment for my ongoing treatment and sick note to cover a required absence from work.
Treliske should be very proud of their fracture clinic. Your staff are a credit to you and the treatment I received today was first class
