"Great gym at Queen Elizabeth"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

4 months ago I had a leg amputated, 8-9 weeks ago I started going to the gym at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This has been a brilliant experience, I enjoyed my sessions there and looked forward to my 'gym days'. I initially went twice a week, I could not wipe the smile off my face when I was told I had made such good progress I only needed to go once a week. I must admit it was pleasure mixed with regret as I enjoyed the social aspect of the gym as much as the hard work and steady progress.

Dear Neptunegb79

Thank you for sharing your story in Care Opinion.

I am delighted to read about how much you enjoyed your gym sessions and the social aspect of attending the gym. Given the progress you have made within the 8-9 weeks your hard work has certainly paid off.

I will make sure that we share your post with the staff and I am sure they will be delighted to read your feedback.

Best wishes

Nicole
