What I liked
When I was admitted to A + E on this occasion they were amazing. Whether you are in resus or cubicles they are truly amazing! The nurses were so caring and the doctors were lovely. On moving me up to HDU, with the possibility of PICU they kept me calm and at ease. The nursing team were out of this world. They kept me cheery and changed all my meds with care and precision. I would recommend this hospital to anyone as every single ward and unit I have been on the teams are just so lovely- you can tell that they are doing the job because they care rather than for the money.
What could be improved
There were conflicting pieces of advice being given, the different specialities may need to communicate a little more and also when a doctor from PICU comes to see you and says they are 'a doctor from another ward' it may be better to be straight and tell me that they are thinking of moving me to PICU as I can read hisbadge and the notes he is making at the age of 16!
