"Amazing efficiency in MSK Rheumatology"

After a previous visit in September I was invited by a personal phone call from the consultant for a follow-up appointment today,14th November. On arrival in the department I was seen promptly by the nurse, swiftly followed by a consultantation with the doctor who did a thorough examination where I felt I was really listened to. As this was inconclusive I was promptly sent for X-ray where I was seen within 30 minutes. The results were conveyed back to the doctor within a short time and was seen again by the doctor who explained what was on the X-ray. Again inconclusive, I was sent for blood tests which also were carried out swiftly. I am amazed that this busy department was able to coordinate and complete these different procedures so efficiently and thoroughly. The staff were helpful, caring and conscientious even at the end of a long day. The environment was clean, pleasant and well set-out.
