"Very successful hysterectomy"

About: Kettering General Hospital / Gynaecology

I went through an hysterectomy last May and I can only say that I was really pleased about how I was treated. I am doing very well and everybody was very caring with me. The only thing I would say is that the surgeon never came to see me after my operation.

Thank you very much for your positive comments and that the care you received was tailored to your needs. Since your operation we have reviewed how the Doctors work on the ward adopting a Consultant of the week approach which means you would see the Consultant the day after your operation. I'm sorry this didn't happen for you when you had your operation but will feedback your disappointment to your named Consultant.
