I have just had one to one therapy for a number of months to deal with anxiety, stress, depression and a general low mood.
The therapist really took the time to get to know me as person and we talked at length about some of the issues that were affecting my quality of life.
Gradually, with the incredible support of my therapist I was able to identify patterns of repeated behaviour, my reaction to situations. I realised that I have complete control of how I deal with things and whether I choose to let people's behaviour affect me.
Over these past few months, I have been through 2 traumatic bereavements as well as watching a family member get married. I used different strategies that I learnt along the way to cope with all of these events and am using them now to try to change my life and feel happier about myself.
I am a lot stronger and shall always be grateful for having had this opportunity of help to help myself. Thank you so much!
