After going to GP on Monday 6th November 17, referred to A&E at Queens, seen fast, then a two hour wait as not then in pain. Once through fantastic care in A&E, taken later to MRU but not told why, spent night there, in morning saw Consultant who said i needed to go to Barts for Angiogram, moved to Coronary Care Unit, again great Staff and care, Wednesday saw another Consultant who again said i need to go to Barts, Thursday morning saw another consultant who again said i need to go to Barts. Total lack of communication of when i would go to Barts. Being Tethered to a monitoring station could not move more than four feet from bed so could not wash etc .
Thursday evening go told i was going to Barts Friday morning, i would be woken at 5 to get prepared. Friday went to Barts again great service had Angiogram all ok.
Back to Queens by 8.30 back to ward. through out lovely Nurses and care.
more obs told nurse had headache but no worries went to sleep about 12.00
At 12.30 a a doctor abruptly woke me up by turning on lights above bed blinding me awaking me from a deep sleep and told me they had prescribed two paracetamol. what an idiot waking a patient who was asleep to tell them this, so then i could not get back to sleep. total idiot such a pity for the great care to end like this.
The doctor had no patient care,. it was all a joke to them total lake of patient skills so much so that as i could not sleep and had not slept since Thursday morning i could not stay so at 2.00 i decided it would be best to get a good nights sleep at home.
Great now i have been told as i discharged my self they will not write to my GP about the results, will not inform them of the change in my drugs and will not refer me to the Cardiologist.
Well Thank you Doctor for nothing, just hope no other patient gets treatment like this from you. But as a last note thanks to all those that did care whilst in Queens and in Barts
