"Excellent care"

About: Tiverton and District Hospital

I came to Tiverton for an OGD. I was scared and apprehensive. From the minute I entered the hospital I was put at ease. The staff in endoscopy were fantastic. I had sedation and came around sooner than I would of liked and had a panic attack with this camera down my throat. The staff were so kind, calm and reassuring. One held my hand and allowed me to nearly break their fingers. Whilst another staff member (I think a HCA) talked and calmed me down until the procedure was finished. I was so apologetic yet nothing was too much trouble. If I have to have another, I will put Tiverton top of the list
