About: Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

This trust ignored complaints about safegaurding issues and add to distress by ignoring correspondence,stating on notes that calls should not be answered,blocking e mails at,the complaints department,blocking phone calls to trust HQ,managers that ignore complaints from myself,my daughter and my MP.CMHT that refuse requests from my GP for assessment and lied to that I would be phoned back.Calls to duty team 3 times and ignored.

I was really sorry to read this posting and disappointed that I haven't been able to respond in a more timely manner. I can see that this doesn't send a good message about integrity or provide confidence that the concerns you raise are being taken seriously. I do wish to apologise for the unavoidable delay and assure you that the apology is both genuine and sincere.

LYPFT wants people to feel supported and enabled to make complaints if they believe that their care and treatment has been poor.

You have raised a number of specific issues across a number of specific departments that I'm not able to give a generic response to - nor would it be my preference to respond in this way.
