"Staff go above and beyond"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Can't thank the staff enough at Ayr A&E department last nite for the help and care I received on my admittance with chest pain.

The staff go above and beyond their job to help calm and find out what's causing the pain. Scariest night of my life and I honestly can't thank the staff enough.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Ladyluck,

I hope you have now had good news about your chest pain. I can only imagine how scared you must have been. I am glad you found the care to be so good and that the team managed to calm you down. Understandably, the more we get stressed and anxious, the worse our symptoms get too; it is a vicious circle isn't it?

I will be very happy to pass this to the team. It is possible the staff involved in your care will remember you (it is so recent) and I am sure your thanks will be very welcome.

I hope you are well, take care,

Eunice
