I arrived at Edgbaston Hospital for surgery on a hernia, From meeting the receptionist to the nurse and porter the doctor and surgeon and the person I ordered and received food and drink from I felt like I was in good hands everyone was quite friendly attentive and very professional.
The best comment I could say would be that I did not feel I was in a hospital at all. when
I was being ready for operation I had a thought that how lucky I was to be born in this era and how much about the medical profession that some of us take for granted.
NHS has many failings but I for one I am greatful its here and that there is co- operation between them and the private hospitals
Many thanks to Edgbaston Hospital and skill of the surgeon.
Yours faithfully John Harris
