"Disastrous"

About: Chapel Allerton Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Initial Injury to knee in May 2015 Arthroscopy in may 2016 Dr did not Advise severe Osteoarthritis even though they had a video camera in my knee promptly Discharged me, had to go back to GP for a another referral back to Orthopedics all in all took 104 Weeks to resolve a problem that was so simple to Diagnose, multiple complaints submitted no action taken have now had to have my care transferred to York from Leeds so now have to travel 70 miles in total

i will never visit Chapel Allerton again i am still in significant pain and am still using very strong painkillers as all my leg was severely restricted with some device i beleive was a torniquet that has caused severe muscle wastage, given a sheet of A4 paper by Physio department even though i am registered with a severe sight impairment and i could not see it could not supply large print absolutely dreadful experience it is completely unbelievable how they can run a service at all.

The one good thing was the Cleaning Staff who also doubled as Catering staff and Nursed were fantastic and deserve all the praise in the world
