"Compassionate staff -Trauma/Fracture clinic in..."

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

Please could you pass on our extreme thanks to all the nurses who were on duty in the trauma/fracture clinic today. Whilst I was having my stitches taken out, after a recent operation, my mother who had accompanied me, suddenly became ill with what looked like a stroke. The quick thinking and efficient nurses dealt with her brilliantly, calling the rapid response team, who were also superb, and getting her to A&E where she was quickly transferred to Addenbrookes by ambulance. Fortunately for us, she hadn't suffered a stroke and she is now back at home, after a thorough MOT, and with the reassurance that she will be carefully monitored by her own GP from now on.

Many, many thanks once again.
