"The care I received at Queen's was phenomenal"

I found the care I received at Queen's phenomenal. from the very first moment I walked in , meeting the smiling, receptionist to talking to the oncologist to finishing the chemotherapy.

The chemo nurses were excellent, I used to sit and listen to them as they talked and related to other patients, and they did that job, day in day out, always the same, chatting, supportive, informative, friendly, distracting through the chemo. There was one there, Mandy Elliott, whom I've got to single out.

Noone ever wants to be a patient at an oncology unit, and the nightmare came true for me, but I got through it, thanks to that centre and the staff there.
