"Poor attitude of the doctor"

About: Alma Road Surgery

My daughter came into the surgery one week ago and saw an extremely helpful and lovely doctor. My Daughter was in extreme pain with swollen glands, fever, aches and pains, and the doctor thought it some kind of virus infection, possibly glandular fever, and offered a blood test whilst pointing out the test could come back negative even if it was GF. The Doctor also prescribed antibiotics due to swelling in her sinus from an ongoing cold and said it could treat a deep infection if that was the case.

One week later, today the 13th March my daughter is still in acute pain, her glands are still swollen, ear ache and last night her face and neck came out in an irritated rash. She is very tired and lethargic and her employers have asked for a "Fit Note" to cover her being off.

My daughter called hoping to speak to the same Doctor, but another Doctor returned the call and was abrupt and unhelpful and uninterested from start to finish. The Doctor did not listen to what my daughter was saying, and kept speaking over her and then offered her a fit note. I went in to collect the sick note at 3pm today, and it clearly said unfit to work due to SINUSITIS! Where did that come from? Unbelievable, and proves this Doctor did not listen. I had to request another note and this one says "Viral Infection" Thank you!

Needless to say we will not be dealing with this particular Doctor again, how rude, and what a bad attitude. However, the first Doctor and Receptionist were extremely helpful.
