"upsetting experience with gynaecologist"

I have pcos (polystic ovarian syndrome)

I went to the Ipswich hospital yesterday and saw a gynaecologist. It felt like they were having a massive go at me for being over weight, even though I have tried every diet there could possibly be. It was implied that it was my fault for having a miscarriage recently and then suggested if I get pregnant there will be complications and if I miscarry again it will be my fault. I found that very upsetting, I know I need to lose weight but I feel like they keep fobbing me off. I went for help, not a lecture. This condition I have is not all on my weight it’s the cause of my weight gain. I'm going to put in a formal complaint. I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest girl in the world I’m a size 16 to 18. Feeling very down about this and felt like I got kicked when I'm already down. Is this acceptable of this gynaecologist?
