What I liked

I had first class clinical care for an inner eye laser op. That was very well carried out (and subequently proving to be very beneficial).

A problem arose with the conduct of Taxi drivers to an from the site whereby they were somewhat blase as to some areas of the Highway Code giving my wife and I rather hair raising experiences.

The prescription was reported by a local Pharmasist as barely legible. This is not confined th one particular NHS area I believe, but it begs the question why the medicine and dosage details were not typed up and printed from an IT source. My GP does this! You can use spellcheck as well!

I duly raised the matters of concern with the Hospital and all the worrying points were addressed fully and to my6 satisfaction. They are aware of those items now and have the chance to monitor themselves to ensure that any improvements found to be needed are done and continue into the future.

It is my wifes and my own Hospital of choice. I would rather travel further to BOT than use Good Hope or Heartlands even though the former is closer to me.

What could be improved

All the staff are remarkably cheery and helpfull. I really cannot imagine any further improvements bieng required. I believe happy workers reflect a good Management.
