What I liked

I would like to thank the staff for restoring my faith in this particular hospital and people in general - the way they dealt with me at first felt a little patronising but soon became friendly and very humorous. They couldn't have given me all the information I wanted or needed in a more professional, courteous and reassuring manner.They stayed with me during the procedure and supported me brilliantly.

Many thanks for making an uncomfortable experience a lot less unpleasant than it may have been.

While we know that sometimes we don't get everything right for all of our patients on every occasion, your account of the care you received is actually pretty typical of what people experience when they come to our hospitals.

As they say, the proof is often in the pudding - which is why we're particularly pleased to have restored your faith in both the Lister and its staff.
