After attending my local doctors the other day to see yet another different doctor, I came away feeling rather awful about myself.
I'd gone in for a routine pill check - height, weight, blood pressure etc. Only then to be met with the fact that my BMI is too high and I'm technically over weight. Sure I've put a little bit of weight on in the past few weeks due to a gym plan and muscle building I've been doing but I'm still slim. BMI does not allow for muscle weight.
I was horrified to then be met with did I want to go back in to the doctors in a months time after setting some weight loss goals.
Since come away with an even worse body complex than I already had - if this is the treatment I received at 11 and a half stone I dread to think what other larger people are experiencing.
