In October I visited the Amazon Ward with my daughter who sadly had taken an overdose at the age of 14. From the initial review in A & E, and transfer to the Amazon Ward, the care we received was exemplary. There was no judgement on my daughter's actions, just high level care and attention to both my daughter and parents who were in a state of shock. Particular thanks must go to all the nurses on the Amazon Ward. They truly illustrated how great a hospital can be. We are lucky to have such great service in the UK.
