I felt like I had started with mastitis so phoned the surgery at 8.10am. Following a friendly discussion with the receptionist I received a telephone triage at around 8.30am from my practice gp. My gp is a very effective communicator and efficient decision maker, not hesitating to book me an appointment for 9.30am.

Rather than wasting valuable gp time for a problem that was routine I was booked in with the specialist nurse practitioner. It was thoughtful to book me in with a female member of staff for a suspected mastitis and I felt completely comfortable during the examination. The nurse practitioner not only expertly diagnosed my problem also listened to concerns I had about my general health and offered advise, giving me a clear plan on what to do over the course of the next few days/ weeks.

This is only one example of the many times the Fischer medical practice has demonstrated excellent care and I feel very lucky to have such a fantastic team of health professionals on my doorstep.
