"Physiotherapy & Hydrotherapy"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

This is a very late review as treatment in Physiotherapy department was received and finished in 2016.

Having been diagnosed with spinal osteoporosis and five vertebral fracures the impetus to get back to a reasonable level of fitness was very strong for me. On my first visit I was recommended for hydrotherapy.

I cannot praise the physiotherapist and staff in hydrotherapy enough. They were so helpful both in the water and recommending which exercises could be transferred to be done 'on land'.

With all the building work being carried out I do hope the hydrotherapy pool and physios will be retained not only for patients such as me but for all those with joint problems.

Without such help I would not have returned to a reasonable level of fitness.
