I went in for daycase surgery for an arthroscopy. The nurses and the trainee who was dealing with me pre op, could not have been more friendly and professional.
During my recovery they could not have been more helpful taking my obs every 15 minutes at first for an hour then every 30. After my toast jam and 2 cups of coffee which were very much appreciated after not eating and drinking.
Both pre and post op they made me feel calm and relaxed.
One thing that I think could be improved is an updated surgery list should be on the ward asapI have the utmost respect for our NHS staff, it is a shame because I think they are underpaid and under resourced, whether it be NHS Scotland or NHS services in England, Ireland and Wales.
"Friendly and professional staff for my Arthroscopy"
