Despite having to fight for an appointment to have this procedure carried out under a general anesthetic, the care and support I received from the Surgical Admissions Lounge, the Anesthetists, Dr Stenner and his team, and the staff in Endo Recovery was amazing. Everybody that I came into contact with was kind, empathic, friendly yet professional.
I was lucky enough to be cared for by Nurse Victoria in Endo Recovery, who looked after me whilst I was trying to not be sick. She has a great sense of humour and monitored me closely,
I was fortunate in that I was able to see Dr Stenner before and after my procedure and it is likely that I will see him again in a month's time. I feel reassured that he will be carrying out the next steps in my care!
I'm sorry that I didn't catch everyone's name so that I can mention them, but from my perspective and experiences, East Surrey hospital is a great hospital
