I've been to Heartlands hospital in Birmingham a couple of times recently and I must say that the staff in the Vascular Assessment clinic, the CT imaging suit and the porters have been absolutely fantastic. They have pulled out all the stops to ensure that I was treated quickly, communicating by phone and letter - dispelling any anxiety and making sure I knew what was what.

The NHS is certainly the jewel in the crown as far as I am concerned.
