"Consultant not seen"

After choosing Salisbury hospital which is some distance from our home, only because of a certain consultant, we are disappointed to not have seen them since very early pregnancy.

Now in the latter stages of pregnancy which is classed as high risk, and it would have been reassuring to see them sometimes rather than one of the juniors.

We don't feel particularly reassured after our regular visits, even though we ask questions, and are still unclear of any potential issues that my risks may cause.

They just always seem so busy and a bit rushed.

Thank fully my local midwife is very supportive but reminds us that of course ultimately they can not make any decisions.

Feeling slightly disappointed overall.
