My Gran was admitted to ITU from ward 33. The care received by the staff on ITU was outstanding, all family (lots of us ) were allowed to sit round her bed whilst they delivered end of life care. We were looked after just as much as gran was, very regular updates, regular cuppa' s and above all a listening ear.
Staff made her last hours dignified and comfortable.
An excellent team who made our grief more bearable.
