"Shocking treatment."

About: Sandwell General Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was referred in March due to horrific stomach pains, which are still ongoing. Saw Dr eventually in August. Advised MRI instead of invasive procedure.....still waiting for appointment. Attended promenade weekend due to pain being severe. Referred to ward. Told go home and wait for MRI. Still in pain and it's not like MRI will solve the pain.

I am sorry for delay you have experienced whilst waiting for an MRI scan. This is not the standard of care that we aim to provide our patients and

I would like make sure your appointment date is sorted. Please could you call Claire Thompson, medical secretary for Gastroenterology, on 0121 507 4926 and she will be able to look into this for you. Kind regards, Toby Lewis, Chief Executive
