"Thankyou again SMTC"

About: Shepton Mallet Community Hospital

This is my fourth operation at the SMTC . I have had both my wrists done due to Carpal Tunnel syndrome and both feet operated on due to painful bunions forming. I thoroughly recommend this beautiful first class treatment centre. Its like visiting a first class hotel, so clean and bright. The staff and nurses are polite, informative and nothing is too much for them. There is no stress when your appointment arrives it is all handled so quickly and is a pleasant experience. When the time comes for the operation you get a visit from nearly every member of staff that are going to operate on you making you feel so calm and safe in there hands. My last two operations where performed by my consultant on both feet. They are an outstanding surgeon who has given me back the rest of my life without the pain. The theatre staff that work with the consultant are amazing, kind and you are the only person they are treating at the time, such lovely people all of them. There is something about this place that brings the best out in everyone............all happy and smiling.

I want to thank all the staff at Shepton Mallet treatment centre for the wonderful care I have always had. I have always been treated with kindness and respect by all and always feel relaxed straight away. The cleanliness of the hospital was fantastic, food superb. So once again, thank you to you all. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to use this centre.

THANKYOU X

Sandra Harrison
