"District Nurses gave us incredible support"

About: North Staffordshire PCT / District nursing

(as the patient),

My mother suffered with chronic terminal ill health, including heart failure, leukeamia and chronic lymphodema. The District Nurses from Werrington Health Centre, Staffordshire gave us all incredible support, inorder that we could care for my mother at home, for as long as possible.

This period of time was so stressful and upsetting, somehow, their support made it bearable. We knew that if we were struggling at anytime their support would be there. Nothing was too much trouble for us as a family. We could never thank them enough.

Firstly, I would like to offer my sincere condolences for the loss that you have suffered. Thank you for taking the time to feedback your experience. I will make sure that this is passed onto the relevant teams who will be pleased to know that they had a positive effect at what was clearly a distressing and difficult time for your family.
