What I liked

I am having a course of restorative dentistry to change my bite to protect my remaining teeth. i am full of praise for the clinical expertise, care and thoughness of the clinical staff - who are kind and friednly and reassurin. I feel very well looked after.

What could be improved

My lab work was not ready, and my denist had asked the admin staff to cancel my appointments and re-arrange when my crowns and caps were complete. This was not done, and so I turned up by public transport on a snowy day only to find my appointment was cancelled. I live in Sheffield so it wasn't so bad but I do know that a lot of people travel quite a long way so it would have been really annoying for them.

I work in the NHS so I understand just how important effective admin is to the smooth running of a hospital. I just wanted to give this feedback so that admin systems can be tightened up to prevent this happening for other people.
