What I liked

I had to wait a whole hour for a disabled parking place for my outpatient appointment. and behind me a long queue of disabled drivers was building up.

When long last I managed to park,there were no direction how to find the department I needed,so I was wondering around.

In their wisdom,they decided that some 12 places were sufficient for this large and busy hospital.I wrote to them and asked to let me know on what calculation was their decision based.They did not bother to reply.

Avoid any organisation,hospital or other,which treat people like this.

What could be improved

Northwick Park hasn't got the best reputation in the area,and I tried to put it mildly.It is impossible to get in touch with anybody in charge,giving the impression that the are hiding,perhaps for good reasons.The whole attitude in that hospital is that the patients are for the hospital not the other way round.To my mind it is the CEO's ( one of the hiding executives)responsibility to tackle this mentality .

Anything else?

Asked my GP NEVER to send me to Northwick Park Hospital again.
