What I liked

I found all te staff from the reciptioist on wards very good. I was kept fully informed of the procedure the whole time. No problems what so ever with this side of the Hospital

What could be improved

I had a bed booked on Freedom Unit with an admission time of 07.30 with a 0845 number to ring before leaving home to confirm bed still ok. This procedure is ok if you live within a 30 minute traveling time. If like me you are coming from North Devon and your phones are not manned till 07.00 or later there is no way we can check if a bed is available before we set off.

I was ringing the number on and off the whole journey time( 1 1/2 hours) with no answer. May i suggest you add the times the phones are available to you're information letter.
