"Brilliant care"

About: Keswick Hospital

I experienced severe pelvic pain while away on holiday to the Lake District. I was unsure of where to go and what to do but saw there was a minor injuries unit nearby which held walk in sessions.

On arrival the staff were nothing but polite and attentive. I was seen by the nurse practitioner and also a student nurse. Both were extremely caring - exactly what a person needs when they feel unwell.

I ended up having to go to the Cumberland Infirmary but the staff at the minor injuries unit even made sure I had directions and detailed notes of their examination to ensure I was seen as soon as possible.

I could not rate my care higher.
