"The call centre"

About: Springfield University Hospital (London)

(as a staff member),

Very frustrated with Springfield call centre, I was calling from another trust to refer someone for a mental health act assessment and when I called to see who it should be passed to, they passed me to a community mental health team who didn't even know the person or was even in their catchment area.

I spoke to the duty person who directed me towards the AHMP team. The person at the call centre obviously has no training on dealing with these matters or where to direct the call, they couldn't even look the person up to direct me to the correct team. Very frustrated with this call
