At 1.00p.m on Saturday afternoon I was seen by the nurse practitioner at Bishop Auckland urgent care centre, by 4:45 I was being wheeled into an operating theatre at Darlington Memorial Hospital and was back on the ward (33) by 6:00 p.m. feeling so much better.
All the staff were thoroughly professional and even though I had to stay in for longer than expected the care was excellent.
However I was quite taken aback by the amount of paperwork that had to be completed at each stage. I am not sure if this shows that the staff are not trusted to do the job properly.
After care at home has also started in an excellent manner, but still the amount of paperwork continues to increase, why?
"Great care, but, their is too much paperwork"
