What I liked

i was took ill on the morning of the 16th of nov..... i was admitted with pneumonia and i was a patient on 3 wards in winchester hospital during my stay...the emergancy assesment ward, shawford ward and the intensive care ward....all the staff was very friendly and made my stay a pleasant one considering the circumstances that i was in there for.....but i must say a big thankyou to all the staff from the intensive care unit, especially the doctor that came down and accessed me in the assesement ward they deserve amazing credit for the way they dealt with everything, their examination, assesment and quick thinking got me the care and treatment that i needed and i believe if it wasn't for them and their team i would not have made a quick recovery like i have.....alot of people (thankgod) do not have to experience time on the ICU unit on their stays in the hospital so alot of people do not see how hard these staff work 24 hours a day.... and the exceptional care and dedication they give to the patients at all times....a few of the other staff was a doctor on the evening shift, and a nurse who gave me 1 to one care all through the night...can not remember their name....but just a big...big thankyou to all of them.

I hope they get to read this because they should know how amazing they all really are and because when i was transferred to shawford ward they was not around so i couldn't thank them personally..... Donna x
