What I liked
My comments relate to my experience of having blood taken. Every time I have visited this department, it seems busy, very cramped, people waiting in the doorway and patients sharing cubicles. It has taken on average 40 mins to be seen, which passes quite quickly when there are magazines to read although being advised of this wait on arrival would be nice. The staff appear very friendly and work together well. I have a needle phobia and get embarrasingly upset when having this procedure, however the staff in this respect have been absolutely fantastic. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their understanding and kindness, and ability to get it done with minimal fuss. I never feel rushed despite the obvious large volume of work and I also appreciate them making use of the curtain.
What could be improved
Maybe a wall mounted TV.
