"The nurses were kind but I found the doctor rude"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

Four weeks ago, I got very breathless and panicked. Prior to that, as I was walking out, I had to sit every few yards to catch my breath. I really struggled with that ever since and ended up in the A&E about four times. I was check out thoroughly each time but nothing was found. The nurses and sisters as well as all the helpers were very helpful and kind. However the night doctor was, in my opinion, very rude and said as much that there was nothing wrong with me, only a water infection and I felt they were quite willing to send me home. I found out later that I had had a small heart attack

Dear Local154

Thank you for sending these comments. I am sorry to hear of your distress and condition. Whilst it is good to see that the nurses and other staff were helpful and kind, I am sorry that the night doctor appeared dismissive and rude. If you could let me know the time and date you attended, I could look further into this matter.

I hope that you are feeling better now

Kind regards
