We came to RMCH outpatients from Blackpool and they didn't send us any directions to the hospital. It has been horrendous getting here, we've been going round and round for hours getting lost!

Our local hospital sends us directions plus a list of parking charges. It would be really helpful if this hospital could do that too.

We're sorry that you had such a terrible time trying to find the hospital, this must have been very frustrating for you indeed. Our Trust has a very strong environmental policy which is why we try to avoid sending out too many pieces of paper in the post. However, the Trust website does now have a list of parking charges and a map of the hospital along with directions. You can find these at www.cmft.nhs.uk/childrens-hospitals/plan-your-visit.aspx Hopefully this will help you for your next appointment.
