Our family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks for the loving care given to our mother in her last few days at Kirkcaldy Victoria Hospital MHDU.
Under the care of Doctor Singh, Doctor Herd, Senior Staff Nurse Carol, Gillian and Ashley who all cared for our mother at the MHDU, where they showed nothing but true compassion, empathy, understanding and went beyond the call of duty to ensure our mother had a peaceful passing.
The staff attitude towards the direct family and relatives was of the utmost respect and made our difficult and unexpected situation informative so we clearly understood everything that was going on which was a comfort to the family. They also allocated us a family room which allowed us to all come and go at different times, which was hassle free and allowed us to come together as a family when we wanted to and not at designated times.
Thank you again MHDU for all your care you offered us.
