"Cannot thank eden suite enough"

After having such a tragic and awful experience in a&e and with the ambulance service with my first pregnancy i cannot be more greatful for the care and support i recieved from the delivery suite up to eden suite unfortunately i had lost my baby after being given positive news by the doctor saying my baby was fine and had a strong heartbeat i felt a sigh of relief then for her to say oh sorry you will be going into labour i couldnt understand i wanted answers but she had just finished a night shift and was going home, my midwife looking after me i will never forget she was there throughout it all and when i was transferred to eden suite they did everything they could to make me feel supported through the difficult time. They definately went the extra mile and i cant thank them enough!

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care you received from the Delivery Suite, until you transferred to Eden Suite at Heartlands Hospital.

I am pleased to read that your midwife and the team were able to support you, especially under the circumstances and having previously had a bad experience.

I shall forward your posting to the Senior Management team for our Maternity Unit and ask that it is shared with the staff. I am sure the staff will feel comforted in the knowledge that they were able to assist and support you at this very difficult time.
