"When I finally got to see the midwife..."

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

What I liked

When I finally got to see the midwife she was very professional and respectful.

What could be improved

It is terrible that when you go in to have a miscarriage confirmed you have to wait with pregnant women. How hurtful and also sad for them too. We were then moved to a dark little side room so we could just watch the happy women come out of their scans.

My appointment was at 10.20 and I was told not to be late and was actually seen over an hour late. This was painful and horrible and just not good enough.

Anything else?

The midwife was also rude on the phone. If they are too busy they should not answer the phone instead of cutting in half way through and saying 'sorry I was doing something else can you start again please'.

(Are these recorded, they should be and listened back !)
