On October 11th, at Wharfedale Hospital Otley, I had a cataract removed from my left eye (my right eye is still to do). I want to tell anyone who needs a cataract removing that they need not worry. The operation was painless, it did not take long, I was reassured, & my treatment was superb throughout. Everyone was kind & friendly & everywhere was clean & fresh.
After the procedure clear vision, crisp definition and bright colour was immediate & the next day I was out walking, my confidence was back, I felt useful again & I was making plans to restock the garden, go shopping, eat out ( I can read a menu now) & enjoy life again.
I am so grateful for the skills & dedication of Mr James Ball & his team & to Leeds NHS Trust at Wharfedale General Hospital. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
