"Staff were very good although working on..."

What I liked

Staff were very good although working on what appeared to be inadequate staffing levels. I had surgery whilst on Hailsham 2 (gynae) anaethetist was not very informative however the surgeon was excellent taking time to see me both before and came to see me again a few hrs afterwards even if I wasnt up to much conversation it was appreciated.

What could be improved

i have since needed more treatment from EDGH and I cannot complain. I have read many of the negative comments. Such a shame that people feel this way. It appears that the odd staff can make it bad for all the excellent staff working there. The NHS is constantly being criticised at a time when its under more pressure and yet cutbacks are being made.

Think the majority of staff at EDGH work brilliantly under poor staffing levels!
