"Consultant was awful"

About: Spire Murrayfield Hospital

First off, the hospital itself looked nice. It is in an out of the way area and looks very clean. The receptionists were all great, and the nurses were fantastic.

However, I have an issue with the consultant I saw. They were extremely aloof, and seemed completely disinterested in talking to me. Not once was I asked if I was ok, I was told what they were going to do, and not told any alternatives. I was vastly underinformed about anything and everything, and they seemed to want to get me out of the room as fast as possible.

All of the above I could forgive if the consultant had provided results. But alas. I still have no diagnosis, am still in pain, and the consultant basically just said, there's nothing they could do. Please leave my office.

So to recap, I was treated with less respect than by staff at the NHS, the consultant didn't seem like they could be bothered to help, and they got no results.

This is a private hospital. What on earth do you pay for?
