"Awful receptionist"

Rang in a panic to book an appointment as had found a lump in my breast and was told by the very rude receptionist it wasn't classed as an emergency and offered an appointment 2 weeks later! I was quite upset and told the receptionist I needed to be seen sooner as I knew I needed a referral to the hospital, they told me to go to the walk in centre. Working at a GP surgery myself I knew that the walk in couldn't do a referral to the hospital and would refer me back to my GP, I challenged the receptionist about this and they became extremely rude and said if I didn't go to the walk in centre I'd have to wait for the next routine appointment in two weeks. I asked for the GP to ring me back to discuss and managed to be seen the same day! Lovely doctors, awful receptionist!
