"Good experience of integrated care in Nottingham"

My husband had a stroke and our lives were transformed forever.

His condition had significantly affected his speech, walking and he now needs help with his personal care and independence.

Following his discharge from hospital, we were put in touch with the integrated care team based in Clifton and i can honestly say, i don't know how he and i would have managed. They came out and put us in touch quickly with a range of services. We were soon being sorted out with aids in the home, the benfits were being sorted out and a programme of rehabilitation was in place.

The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend this service to anyone. This is the NHS at its best.

I hope that the cutbacks do not affect the quality of care. We all deserve the best when in need.
